Straw on the brain

A family business with heart and soul.

Behind Manz-Stroh is a family that thinks about straw in the morning, talks about straw at noon and in the evening … well, you can guess. From the harvest to the finished bale, we take care of every detail.

Most farmers meet us through our dealers – who are, luckily, just as mad about straw as we are. In the background we make sure every bale is right, and the dealers bring it to you. And if something does go wrong: we are real people and we do pick up the phone.

From the farm to straw professionals

We kept cattle, horses and pigs ourselves.

Even back then we relied on straw. We practically have it in our genes.

Full focus on straw

Our focus shifted more and more away from the direct livestock business towards the straw business. Year after year we pressed more and more straw.

Focus on straw refinement

We still run our farm today. Since 2008, however, we have specialised in particular in straw refinement: finely chopped, dedusted and absorbent are our goals.
